XO-Studio is a modern cultural platform to promote and facilitate cultural, scientific and economical exchange programs between Iran and Worldwide.

Since 2013, the company works as a cultural platform to facilitate the cultural programs of the German-Speaking Countries in Iran, specifically organizing the architectural tours in Iran.

Hosna Pourhashemi, born in Tehran (Iran), studied Bachelor of Environmental Engineering at the Tehran University, Bachelor, Master and Doctor of Landscape Architecture at the University of Natural resources and Life Sciences BOKU in Vienna and at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology ETHZ in Zurich. She was working at Vogt Landscape Architects in Munich (Germany), Zurich (Switzerland) and with many offices in Tehran (Iran). Since 2013, she founded and directs XO-Studio in Tehran based a cultural platform and she was also lecturer for Master of landscape architecture at Azad University of Tehran for three years. She has cooperated and organized many architectural tours and conferences with the Swiss and Austrian architects in Iran.

Beat Jordi Architect
studied at the Departement of Architecture at the Federal Institute of Technology ETHZ, Zurich. working with ILAUD in Milan / Pistoia, Italy. teaching at ETHZ as assistant and visiting professor guest teacher at Bauhaus University Weimar. partner of ADP architects, architectural office for architecture, urban design and planning in Zurich expert activites for architecture and urban design. Researches about Persian Garden and Architecture.

Marzieh Azad Architect & Researcher
holds Masters of Architecture concerned on historical restoration and PhD from France on Iranian bazaars and shopping centers in Tehran from the Conservatoire Nationale des Arts et Métier. She has spent many years teaching Architecture in Iran and Canada at Ryerson University, very much interested in the cultural and historical issues of architecture and its impact on Society. She has attained Interior design Certificate at Seneca College in 2018 from Canada.

Thomas Meyer-Wieser Architect & City Planner
is a graduate of the Technical University of Zürich. In 1978 studied at the International Laboratory of Architecture and Urban Design in Urbino, Italy. did practical training with Modam Consulting Architects in Tehran, in 1979 he worked on an UNESCO project for the restoration of the Sassanid Palace Ghala Dokhtar in Firozabad, Iran. From 1985 to 1995 ruled his own architectural office, Schwarz & Meyer Architekten in Zurich, since 2009 Thomas Meyer Architekten GmbH.
